Giving Back: Building Stronger Communities, One Project at a Time

At the heart of our company is a simple belief: great design isn't just about creating beautiful products—it's about making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Our founder and lead designer has always been passionate about giving back. Whether it's participating in local community events, volunteering time, or donating products to organizations and families in need, serving others has become an important part of who we are as a business.

One of the most meaningful opportunities came in 2024 during Serve Day. The event is a part of the Habitat for Humanity group, bringing volunteers together to help families in need by working on housing projects.

During the event in Frederick, Maryland, our founder worked with a group of volunteers help build sections of wall framing for a future home. It was a rewarding experience that demonstrated how teamwork, compassion, and a shared purpose can make a lasting impact.

Experiences like Serve Day remind us that every contribution matters. Whether it's a few hours of volunteer work, donating products to support a fundraiser, or lending our skills to a local project, small acts of generosity can create meaningful change for individuals, families, and entire communities.

As our company continues to grow, so does our commitment to community involvement. Frederick, Maryland has an amazing small-business community. Supporting local initiatives, partnering with charitable organizations, and participating in service events are just a few of the ways we strive to make a positive difference beyond the design services we offer.

If you're organizing a charity event, fundraiser, or community initiative and are looking for product donations or support, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out to us at hello@scantiquehome.com - we would be happy to consider your event for a donation or partnership.
